​Important News From CCCS!!!
  • Please check POWERSchool to see your child’s progress on a regular basis.  If you need a user name and login, please contact your child’s teacher. Thursday, October 12th is the official Progress Report day on the site.  Be sure to keep checking for any indication of help needed.  Contact your child’s teacher if you need a hard copy of your child’s progress report.

  • Please be certain to return the Computers for Education books.  CCCS does earn money for each book returned.

  • There will be a school holiday to celebrate Columbus Day on October 9th. Enjoy a well-deserved long weekend!  CCCS is off to a spectacular start!  Thank you for all your cooperation.

  • The parent meeting on October 18th is a meeting designed as a Title I program for parents to learn about available programs here @ CCCS.  The meeting will also include assembly information on the Heads-Up Drug Awareness Programs the children will view the next day.  It is important to keep parents in the communication loop. Finally, we will conclude with a Parent PRIDE Report. The meeting will be held @ 13th Street and starts @ 7 P.M.

  • Winter uniforms are required on the 16th of October.  Please be sure to abide by all the policies listed in our parent-student handbook.

  • The “PRIDE” program began last week.  The assemblies were very successful at both buildings and the children have begun to work hard on their PRIDE points. There will be forthcoming information on the school website about the program.  Thank you, as always, for all your support for the character development programs of CCCS.

  • Picture Day will be held on October 11th.  Flyers with available packages will be sent home from Life Touch.  Please be sure that the children are dressed appropriately for their pictures.

  • After School Specials Clubs will begin during the week of October 10th .  Foundations Program has already begun @ the 9th Street building.

  • Please do not allow your child to wear any kind of digital or electronic device on their wrist as a watch, as in an Apple Watch or Samsung Watch.  Also, no Google or Samsung glasses. These will be considered as a cell phone, and treated accordingly in the discipline handbook.

  • The Professional Development for staff will be held on October 27th.  The students will be dismissed @ 1:30 on that day.  Please be on time to pick up your children.  THERE WILL BE FOUNDATIONS FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN THE PROGRAM THAT DAY, but NO AFTER-SCHOOL CLUBS @ 13th Street.
